Founded in the year 1932, this four ringed brand has toured a long way to be at the position where it is today. Known for manufacturing luxury performance cars, this German auto marque has paved its way to success by introducing the face lifted version of the well known R8. Being one of the most admirable sports car of the era, this mean machine still holds the fame and glory it had when it was first launched in the 2006 Paris Auto Show. Engine, mileage and variants

On the other hand, the 5.2-litre V10 engine knocks out a juicy 386 kW at 8000 rpm, with a maximum torque of 530 Nm at 6500 rpm. The V10 plus variant of the R8 carries the same V10 engine but magically offers a huge 404 kW power at 8000 rpm. With S tronic transmission in the powerhouse, the R8 bursts out from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and the propulsion only ends at 317 km/h. Fuel stratified injection (FSI) technology amalgamated with the engine allows it to deliver a mileage in the range of 7.51 km/l to 8.06 km/l.
