At Frankfurt Motor Show in 2015, Porsche revealed the second generation of 991 Carrera. Some of the models under Porsche 911 are Carrera, Carrera4, Targa 4, Turbo and GT3. All the models are offered in an upgrade of S and GTS model with cabriolet options.

The design of Porsche 911 showcases a traditional style language of a wide and sleek sports car from years. The wings are on high side than the front lid with round and bulging headlights. The roof line slopes towards the rear over side windows. The front view is dominated by a new lighting design of a four spot LED daytime running lights assimilated into Bi-Xenon headlights. The air intakes are larger to gain a sportier look than before. The rear view has three dimensional LED taillights which explores a similar look like 918 Spyder. The light strips are narrower and seep into the taillights on both the sides. The overall look has been engineered in a way to look more sharp and sporty with a wider and heavy look with a dimension of 4,499mm x 1978mm x 1,296mm.

With over 60 years of experience, Porsche is dedicated in delivering a sporty design and a sports car construction. The materials inside are exquisitely made for a comfortable and relaxed environment. The head and leg room are spacious unlike any other sports car. The steering wheel design is derived from 918 Spyder. The Porsche Communication Management (PCM) initiates an online navigation system with live traffic updates. It also has a voice control system and Connect Plus Module which is a faster way to reach to your destination.

Safety, Braking and Miscellaneous

The braking system of Porsche 911 has been newly developed and upsized to match the increased power output. It is armed with six piston aluminum monoblock fixed brake calipers at the front and rear. The diameter measuring the front and rear brakes are 350 and 330mm respectively. These brakes enable a more sudden response and release in case of extra load. On the other hand, Porsche 911 also offers advanced safety features like Porsche Side Impact Protection System (POSIP) that features side impact protection and standard airbags located on either side.
