Introduction

From its premium sportbike to everyday use city bikes, Kawasaki's products are always game changers in the market. Kawasaki has adopted the same philosophy for ER-6N. This aggressive and stylish street-fighter has received extensive upgradation, with a more improved 649cc engine and packed it with more thrust, a new slimmer chassis for nimble handling, a sharp design, that will make heads turn on the road, and to top it all an economic price, to fit in everyone's budget. Design


The Japanese motorcycle giant, Kawasaki is known to built bike that not only looks stunning in pictures but also on the road. Every model from this green factory sports a dynamic design language that distinct its from any other bike on the road. The ER-6N unmistakably looks a Kawasaki. From its tall boy stance to a mean front look to sharp and clean lines, ER-6N denotes a monstrous character. The new angular design stacked with illuminating headlamps, bestow it a sharp street-fighter look. Based on a new double pipe perimeter frame, which accentuates its sleek bodywork. To give it a sporty appeal, the bike have been integrated with a split seat, grab rail mounted impressively at the rear body panels, and a stylish LED tail lamp with clear lens turning blinkers that enhance its overall character. Bolted on a tubular diamond, high tensile steel frame, Kawasaki ER-6n comes with body dimensions of 2,110mm x 770mm x 1,110mm (LxWxH) that give it a well noticeable presence. It has a wheelbase of 1,410mm that makes it easy to handle, even on difficult terrains.

Engine, Economy & Performance


The ER-6N draws power from a potent 649cc, Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, Parallel Twin, DOHC engine. The same engine is also used in Kawasaki sports tourer Ninja 650 and cruiser Vulcan S. The engine has the propensity to generate a maximum power of 72.1 PS made at 7500 rpm with an utmost torque value of 64 Nm made at 6500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission with the positive neutral finder. The engine delivers a smooth, responsive performance, especially in the low and medium rpm ranges. The Vulcan S offers smooth starts from a standstill, smooth acceleration, and a satisfying pull when accelerating. The Digital Fuel Injection technology, provides the significant mileage, saving you trips to the petrol pump.

Handling


For a relaxed ergonomics and superb handling, Kawasaki has loaded the ER-6N with a plethora of novelties, to ease rider comfort. This street-fighter is based on a cutting-edge double-pipe perimeter-style, made from high-tensile steel. The rigidity balance of the double-pipe frame and swingarm contributes to a lighter, easier handling package.

The bike features a thick cushioned two-piece seat, which is comfortable and enables easy reach to the ground. The riding position of ER-6N is specially designed to inspire rider confidence. An ideal relationship between the handlebars, seat and footpegs results in a comfortable and natural position suitable for a wide range of riders. To reduce vibrations, the handlebar is rubber-mounted.

Safety, Braking and Miscellaneous
Kawasaki ensures all its models come with proper safety gear to handle its colossal performance. Similar to other stables from this Japanese factory, the ER-6N also comes equipped with a high-end braking mechanism. Thanks to the leading, 300 mm twin disc brakes port with twin-piston calipers in the front and 220 mm rear petal disc, the bike comes to a standstill at once, even on top speeds. This braking is further refined with the incorporation of a high-performance ABS unit to the package. To handle the suspension duties excellently, the bike comes integrated with a 41 mm telescopic fork at its front while Offset laydown single-shock with adjustable preload are placed at the rear end.
