Nissan Teana Review
Nissan introduced its Teana in the first quater of the year 2002 in the Japanese auto market. This mid-size luxury sedan recieved its fair share of good response in the domestic market and was then launched globally. Teana is the replacement of Nissan Cefiro and Bluebird and carried the legacy with same pride. The third generation of this D-segment vehicle was introduced in the year 2013 with better dimensions and features than its predecessors to attract more customer base. This sedan is known for its luxurious features and is one of the best possible alternatives in D-segment sedans in the Indonesian auto market.
Engine, Mileage & Variants
Nissan Teana comes equipped with a 2.5-litre 4 inline cylinders 16 valve DOHC twin CVTC engine under its stylish bonet. This powerful engine churns out a peak power of 172 PS at 6000 rpm alongside a peak torque measuring at 234 Nm at 4000 rpm. This engine along with Xtronic CVT delivers a mileage count of 11.45 kmpl on an average on combined terrains. This engine accelerates in 11.24 seconds from a standstill and touches the 100 kmph mark with a top speed of 200 kmph. All the numbers look quite decent keeping in mind the capacity of engine is 2.5-litre. A maximum of 65 litres of fuel can be carried by this sedan at a time.
Nissan Teana carries a sporty structure at its exterior with features adding more to its style. The front and side profile of this sedan has curves and body lines which make it look more elegant. The chrome plated front grille with Xenon headlamps make the front look complete. This luxurious mid-size sedan has exterior dimensions of 4875 mm x 1833 mm x 1490 mm (L x W x H) along with wheelbase of 2775 mm and ground clearance measuring at 135 mm. This sedan has 17-inch alloy wheels which are complemented by the tires measuring 215/55 R17 to keep a firm grip on road.

Nissan Teana is a mid-size luxury sedan with a seating capacity of 5 passengers. This vehicle has got it all when it comes to comfort and luxury. Added to this is its cutting edge technology which delivers good power to drive this vehicle. However, the mileage doesn't look that impressive with the only available petrol engine.
