Victory High Ball Review
Victory High Ball is a powerful bike that is on its way to the Indonesia's cruiser market. The bike is introduced by Victory Motorcycles which is a subsidiary of renowned ATV and snowmobile manufacturer, Polaris Industries. With its entry in the country, the company will have to face a tough competition with Harley Davidson which is already established in this segment. Victory High Ball gets its life from a 1731cc, four-stroke, v-twin cylinder engine that comes linked to a six-speed transmission system. The engine churns out an excellent amount of power and torque.
Victory's High Ball is a piece of art when it comes to its design scheming. The body frame has been designed with elegant design to fascinate the cruiser enthusiasts all over the world. It has a sharp body design that make it look distinct from the rest of the cruisers. At the front, it has a stylish eye shaped headlamp section that thoroughly goes with its overall design. It has an instrument cluster embedded on the muscular fuel tank along with the company ensign and display an analogue speedometer, an odometer, a trip meter and other tell tales. The long and narrow fuel tank gives the bike a majestic appearance. The bike has unique leaf shaped rear view mirrors that look fascinating due to their one of its kind design. At the rear, it has a staggered slash-cut dual exhaust with crossover along with a tail light that has side indicators and fat rear tyre which make it a better option available in the market. It has a length of 2372 mm and 523 kg of gross weight with a wheelbase of 1670 mm.
Engine, Economy & Performance
Talking about its engine and performance, the Victory High Ball has a 1731cc, v-twin cylinder, four-stroke engine to develop the superlative power. The power train is linked to a six-speed manual gearbox to provide smooth acceleration. The bike uses an (EFI) electronic fuel injection system and with this configuration, it delivers an overall superior performance along with a decent fuel economy and a crisp throttle.
The American manufacturer has used telescopic suspension at the front and WP mono shock suspension at the rear and they can be adjusted according to the riding genre and aid in long distance riding by contributing a laid back riding posture. The front and rear end are equipped with radial tyres and the size of the tyres are 90/90 - B21 at the front while at the rear the size is 180/55 – B18 with stylish black stingray alloy wheels.
Safety, Braking and Miscellaneous
For satisfactory braking, Victory High-Ball has been embellished with a hydraulic multi-plate clutch that avoids loss of revs and the effects of engine braking under contentious downshifts. Clutch pull is nice, light and getting underway is easy. The High Ball has really wide tyres and an integrated ABS unit has been provided with twin disc brake at front and a single disc brake at the rear to give a safe and secure riding experience to the rider. It has one and only riding mode which is touring and furthermore it has advanced safety features like emission control along with the warning lights for neutral, leg guards, engine check warning, engine immobilizer and anti-theft alarm to keep the rider updated about the vehicle.
