Mazda Biante Review
The newly developed Mazda Biante is a large MPV designed and developed by the Japanese automaker Mazda in 2008. The name Biante was derived from the Italian word “Ambient” which means surroundings. This 8-seater MPV fits in between Premacy and MPV that falls in the Mazda’s range. In this vehicle, the Japanese manufacturer has introduced an advance SKYACTIV technology. This SKYACTIV technology is an innovative approach which is focused on improving fuel economy while contracting CO2 emission.
Engine, Mileage & Variants
The latest evolution of Mazda Biante is made available in two variants for the Indonesian buyers, named as New Biante with Skyactive and New Biante Limited Edition. Both of the variants are appointed with standard petrol engine that employs SKYACTIV technology. This 2.0-litre inline 4-cylinder engine is capable of producing maximum power output of about 151 PS at 6000 rpm, along with peak torque generated as 190 Nm at 4100 revolutions per minute. It is quite fast for an MPV as it hits the 0-100 km/h in just 12.7 seconds, at the same it attains a top speed of 176 km/h. Employed with advance SKYACTIV technology, this vehicle offers a decent mileage of 13.51 km/l.
Dynamically sculpted body of this MPV shows a touch of sports and simplicity to the sleek silhouette of this car. The chrome finished radiator grille mounted with Mazda insigna at the centre, delivers ample air to the engine. The well-organized halogen headlamps and the body colored front bumper integrated with fog lamps allows this car to pave its way even through the deepest darkness.
