The new Honda HR-V is a distinctive mini SUV designed and developed by the Japanese manufacturer Honda. The Japanese automaker announced its upcoming subcompact crossover in 2014 which had already been revealed in Japan as Honda Vezel. According to the Honda HR-V’s history, the HR-V is an abbreviation of Hi-rider Revolutionary Vehicle. Exceptionally developed with premium equipment and classy design, the HR-V is very popular among Indonesian customers.
The latest edition of Honda HR-V delivers thrilling eagerness and spontaneity with two engine variants named as Honda HR-V 1.8-litre Prestige and Honda HR-V 1.5-litre. These engine variants are employed with CVT which offers exceptional performance to its occupants. The 1.8-litre engine is capable of generating 139 PS at 6500 rpm and the maximum torque is about 169 Nm at 4300 rpm. Whereas, in case of 1.5-litre engine the maximum power output is about 120 PS at 6600 along with peak torque measures as 145 Nm at 4600 rpm. Matched with the HR-V’s gasoline engines, the appointed 6-speed automatic transmission helps the driver in better handling. When it comes to mileage, the 1.8 litre engine offers fuel consumption of 6.6 l/100km. On accelerating, the same 1.8 litre petrol engine takes 12.0 seconds to breach the mark of 100 km/h from 0, the top speed remains a good 201 km/h.
