Ford Everest, popularly known as Ford Endeavor in other auto markets, was launched by Ford Motor Company in 2003 as a mid-size SUV. Initially, it was launched only in Thailand but later on with its demand in the market, it was provided to the other markets as well. As of now, in Indonesia, Ford Everest is a big time hit SUV since more than 10 years and residents are prying on its latest face lifted version. Considering the variants available in the market in current time; three trims are available including XLT MT and AT variants, 10- S and LTD (limited version).
Engine, mileage & variants
Ford Everest, the mid-size sport utility vehicle is powered with a 2.5-litre engine TDCi, coupled with different transmission (5-speed manual & automatic) and drives (all-wheel drive & two-wheel drive). This way, you have ample choice to pick the trim as per your choice from the available three trims – XLT (which is available in 4X2 MT and 4X2 AT), 2.5 TDCi 4X4 MT 10-S and 2.5 TDCi 4X2 AT LTD. All the mentioned diesel engines, delivers maximum power output of 105 kW at 3500 rpm along with the peak torque of 330 Nm at 1800 rpm. In-line 4-cyl, 16-valve, DOHC engine has fuel consumption of 11.36 km/l, in combined driving cycle and gives an acceleration count of about 13 seconds to tick the speed mark of 0-100km/h.

Safety, Braking and Miscellaneous
For firm handling of the vehicle, it has ventilated disc brakes in the front and drum with LSPV in rear with front axle independent double wishbone suspension and rigid leaf spring with stabilizer rear suspension. Dual airbags are employed for the security of driver and front passenger. Additionally, side airbags are also provided in the Limited trim. Rear Parking Sensor keeps you informed for any inhibition while taking reverse gears so that you can easily maneuver vehicle in tight spaces. Minimum turning radius of 6.1-meters gives you further idea to ride in confined spaces. Furthermore, all-wheel drive and two-wheel drive options are provided to choose from making it easy to ride in this SUV over all kind of surfaces.
This is a proper SUV from ford that keeps it simple and provides impressive performance with huge space inside. The only negatives are its huge dimensions and slow acceleration.
