The E-Class Saloon is further available in four sub-variants – E 200, E 250 AVA, E 250 CDI and E 400 AMG while the E-Class Coupe is available in E 250 Coupe and E 250 Cabriolet. The most efficient 2143cc engine in coordination with the automatic 7-speed transmission and silky-smooth gear transitions can attain a speed of 100km/h from naught in just 7.7 sec and a top speed of 240 to 242kmph, all this along with preserving a fuel economy of 5.1-4.8 litres per km.
