Yamaha WR250R Review
Yamaha WR250R is the perfect definition of the off-road bike, which offers superior ride and handling along with light weight and comfortable riding posture. This is well known off-road adventurous motorcycle, manufactured on the rigid aluminium chassis and holds fully adjustable suspension for a perfect off-roading ride. It was first introduced in 2008 to fill the pigeonhole existing on the site of Yamaha.
This bike is purely manufactured for off roading purpose and is fitted with features that are particularly tuned for riding the bike in both on-road and off-road conditions, though the latter has been given a higher priority. It has new fuel injection technology which seems the cherry on the cake.
Despite having off-road bike characteristics, the WR250R is easy to maintain and follow normal street bike schedule.

Engine, Economy & Performance:
Coming over its power mill, it is equipped with a 250 cc engine with fuel injection system that puts out about 30.7 PS of power at 10,000 rpm and peak torque 23.7 Nm at 8,000rpm. The powertrain is mated with constant mesh 6-speed gear box with the multiplate wet clutch offering well-polished gear shifting. The power mill is capable enough to carry bike from 0-60 kmph in between 3-4 seconds and able to attain the maximum speed of 150 kmph.
It is a proper dirt bike from Yamaha, which has recived fame for manufacturing rider-oriented bikes. Same goes for this bike, which is holding fully adjustable inverted forks at the front profile and fully adjustable single shock at the rear portion to offer perfect dirt bike experience.
To maximise the off-roading ability of the bike, it has tyre size of 80/100-21 at the front and 120/80-18 at the rear, which make the bike run on different surfaces.
Safety, Braking and Miscellaneous:
For potent braking and safety, WR250R is occupied by a 250 mm hydraulic single disc on the front facia and 230 mm hydraulic disc on the rear. The braking system of the bike provide highly confident riding and work effectively at the time of harsh braking.
